However, you can still avoid the effects of caffeine in decaf coffee.
One way to do this is to cut back on the coffee altogether. This can be very difficult if a coffee fix is already part of your daily routine. You can, however, drink some kinds of herbal tea instead because tea can give the same fix but have very little to no caffeine. You can also be a picky coffee drinker – you can be more selective about the coffee brands you buy as well as test your decaf with a coffee tester when you go out for coffee at a café. Lastly, you can substitute exercise for your morning coffee if you are drinking it to wake yourself up in the first place.
