Blood Type Diet: Fact or Fiction November 9
Dr Peter DÁdamo was the first to introduce the relationship of one’s blood type with the food he or she eats. From his point of view, lectins are responsible in building chemical reactions between food and blood. This brought about different diet theories for various blood types.
For one, people with type “O” blood are to be given meat in their diet while those with the “A” blood type are more of vegetarians. Those with blood type “B” are classified under omnivores to be given the so-called dairy diet. Well, this pattern can be easier followed by those who know their respective blood types. But what happens to those who never cared knowing what their blood types are? Is it safe to assume that the said individuals are including the wrong types of food in their diet?
While some people may have seen changes in their bodies by adapting to Dr. DÁdamo’s recommendation, there are those that do not actually see the difference. The advice here is to eat the right sets of food for optimum health. If one is not sure of what is good for him, the best thing to do is go to a nutritionist.
