Sam Jones latest Celeb Facing Drug Charges October 28
Twenty- six year old Sam Jones III, most well known for roles he’s played in television shows like CSI, Smallville, ER and The practice during his acting career, is now facing charges that he not only had drugs in his possession but intended to sell them as well. The actor was arrested at his home in Canoga Park October 21st by investigators from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency who made the move based on a 2008 sting operation where Jones is accused of having made a deal with undercover agents of the DEA. During the sting Jones is said to have been attempting to purchase 10,000 tablets of Oxycodone for the purpose of reselling them.
The Drug Enforcement Agency is said to have made the claim that Jones was a “Hollywood connection” from April to July of 2008 in a drug operation ring that illegally distributed and purchased Oxycodone. If the charges can be proven in court Jones faces as much as twenty years for the crime. Jones is the latest in a series of drug related incidents with celebrities in the past year.
