Marijuana as Christmas Presents! December 27
Two women were caught with 20 pounds of marijuana in Missouri, and they hid it in rather unassuming Christmas presents.
A report shared how state troopers were able to get the pot from two women who were caught speeding on Interstate 44 near Joplin, Missouri. Some of the pot, dubbed in the same article as “Christmas cannabis,” was found in luggage; some were in boxes that were then wrapped as Christmas gifts.
The women who were in the car reportedly gave permission to state troopers to search the car. They were eventually charged with a marijuana-related count and were released on a thousand-dollar bond.

You know. I just read about the story about the terrorist that almost successfully exploded a passenger plane with hundreds of people on it. He was on the Terrorist Watch list, but not the do not fly list. His father warned of him two weeks before he flew. And then you read about stories like this and how much the US spends on the failing drug war. Could we maybe spend the money on the security where it matters? Why is the system so broken 8 years after 911? Why are so many resources used to fight Marijuana when Terrorist are still getting through screening after all the Warnings?

From California and only $1,000 bail for 20 pounds. Maybe $10,000 or $100,000 I would believe. My guess would be they are back in California and will never visit Missouri again even for trial. Something smells fishy here. A setup to get the real dealers or the state police didn’t really have permission to search. It might have even been 22 pounds???
