With swine flu causing quite a stir not just in the United States but all over the world, we all undoubtedly looked for and devoured any information that we can get about the condition. It was therefore not surprising for us to realize that our post on the common signs and symptoms of swine flu had quite a following.
2009 was actually riddled with a whole lot of posts and updates about swine flu, as we followed the development of the disease as closely as we could and shared stories such as the rise in the number of children who succumbed to swine flu. We also followed the evolution of the swine flu vaccine, and did a post on its advantages and disadvantages.
Another topic that was certainly hot and happening in 2009 was marijuana. We brought to you two sides of what was happening as far as marijuana is concerned in the United States. On the one side is the drive towards legalizing marijuana being as it were that mere prohibition seems to be doing more harm than the good that it undoubtedly envisioned to achieve.
We also shared with you how states have legalized the medical use of marijuana; and more than just that, there are now states that are seriously considering legalizing marijuana and regulating its use, in very much the same way that alcohol is being regulated at this time. We even shared with you meals with marijuana as an ingredient which you can enjoy, for as long as you had the license to eat it!
It certainly has been a good year for us here, and we look forward to an even more fruitful year in 2010, as we bring you more stories and share with you more information that can contribute to a healthier you!
