Lindsay Lohan Sentenced to 90 Days in Jail! July 7
It seems that the patience of Judge Marsha Revel for actress Lindsay Lohan has run out. The Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge handed down a sentence on Ms. Lohan on Tuesday that was tougher than what prosecutors had asked for, according to a report in the Los Angeles Times.
Judge Revel sentenced the actress to 90 days in a locked-down drug rehabilitation facility, in addition to three sentences of 30 days each. She is scheduled to surrender to authorities on July 20, and is expected to serve her sentence at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood. She will be housed in a wing that is separated from the rest of the inmates in the jail.
Judge Revel ignored pleas from the actress, who asked to address the judge directly prior to the sentencing. Lindsay Lohan reportedly said: “As far as I knew I was in compliance with my programs. I wasn’t trying to get special treatment. I have to provide for myself. I have to work. Having said that, I did everything to balance my jobs and showing up. I’m not taking this as a joke. It’s my life. It’s my career. … I take responsibility for my actions. I’ve tried to do the best I can. It’s been such a long haul. … I don’t want you to think that I don’t respect you.”
Judge Revel listened but did not take heed of Ms. Lohan’s pleas. The feature quoted the judge as saying: “There were a number of instances of [Lohan] not taking things seriously. It’s like someone who cheats but doesn’t think it’s cheating if they don’t get caught.”

Yes, she needs time in jail, if nothing else than to get her away from drugs, partying, etc. It’s pretty obvious it’s going to take something drastic in her life to make her actually use her brain cells to realize her lifestyle is going to end up killing her eventually or on skid row, because no one will hire her.
She’s an adult. She needs to own up and act like one.
