Ivan Basso Grateful for Drug Ban
Ivan Basso, former Tour of Italy champ said that being suspended for two years due to his use of illegal drugs was the “best thing to happen to him.”
Following his slip up, Basso has been working with several charities and continuing to train for his return to the sport. He hopes to win the Tour de France in the future, drug free.
